How Busy Bunny uses TikTok advertising

Busy Bunny AI, Inc. makes the Busy Bunny and FlashOne apps. We advertise our own apps on TikTok, and we use the TikTok API for Business as a direct advertiser: the only ad accounts we connect are our own, in our own TikTok Business Center. We do not manage ads for other businesses, and we do not access anyone else's TikTok account.

What we use the API for

• Ad account management: read the settings and balance of our own advertiser account.
• Ads management: create and update campaigns, ad groups and ads for FlashOne and Busy Bunny. New campaigns are created paused; a person on our team approves the budget and turns them on.
• Reporting: read spend, impressions, clicks and conversions for our own campaigns, so we can see which ads work and stop the ones that don't.
• Measurement: the TikTok pixel on flashone.ai reports sign-ups from our ads, so we can measure cost per sign-up. Automatic advanced matching is off.

What we never do

• We never read, store or sell TikTok users' personal data. Reports are aggregate numbers for our own ads.
• We never post to or act on another person's TikTok account.
• We never spend money on ads without a person on our team approving it first.

How the connection works

An administrator of our own TikTok Business Center authorizes our app once. TikTok returns a one-time code to busybunny.ai/tiktok/callback; our server exchanges it for an access token, which is stored encrypted in Google Cloud Secret Manager and used only by our own advertising tools. The administrator can revoke access at any time in TikTok Business Center.
