  • Direct Communications: When you contact us (e.g., via support channels), we receive the information you provide, such as your name, email, message contents, and any files attached.
  • Payment Details: For paid services (like subscriptions), our third-party payment processors (e.g., Stripe, Apple, Google) collect necessary payment information. Busy Bunny does not directly store your complete payment card information.

B. Information Collected Automatically During Use

  • Usage and Log Information: Our servers automatically record technical and usage data when you use the App. This can include IP address, device specifications, operating system details, app version, how you interact with features, error reports (crash logs), timestamps, and general system activity.
  • Device Specifications: We gather data about the device used to access the App (e.g., hardware model, OS version, unique identifiers, network information). This assists with compatibility, service optimization, support, and preventing misuse.
  • Voice Data: When using voice chat features, audio is processed in real-time via WebRTC. We do not store raw audio recordings unless you explicitly opt in to conversation history features.
  • Cookies and Similar Tracking Technologies: If our Services utilize web components or web views, we might employ cookies or comparable technologies for session management, functionality, and analytics.

How We Use Your Information

App Functionality

  • Corporate Transactions: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your information might be transferred as part of the transaction with appropriate notice.

Data Storage, Security, and Retention

Data Storage and Access

User data is stored locally on your device for offline use and synchronized with our secure cloud infrastructure (Firebase) to facilitate backup and cross-device access. The App uses a local-first architecture with encrypted storage, meaning your data is primarily stored on your device with cloud sync as a secondary layer.

Data Security Measures

We employ commercially reasonable safeguards to protect your personal information, including:

  • Encryption (HTTPS/TLS) for data transmitted over networks.
  • Encrypted local database storage on your device.
  • Biometric authentication and PIN protection.
  • Four-tier security model (public, authenticated, sensitive, financial) with appropriate access controls.
  • Firebase security rules restricting data access to authorized users.
  • Periodic review and update of security protocols.

Despite these measures, no system can be guaranteed 100% secure. While we dedicate significant effort to protecting your data, we cannot ensure absolute security.

Data Retention Period

We keep your personal information only as long as needed to achieve the purposes stated in this Privacy Policy. When an account deletion is requested, we typically begin the process within 30 days. Data might persist in backup systems for a limited duration (up to 60 days), after which it is permanently erased or anonymized.

Your Rights and Choices

  • Accessing and Correcting Information: Most account details can be viewed and modified directly within the App's settings.
  • Requesting Data Deletion: You have the right to request deletion of your account and associated personal data. Email privacy@busybunny.ai with "Data Deletion Request" in the subject line. We will process your request within 30 days.
  • Managing Communications: You can opt-out of non-essential promotional emails using the "unsubscribe" link within them. Essential service announcements will still be sent.
  • Do Not Track Signals: Currently, no universally accepted standard exists for responding to browser "Do Not Track" signals. Our Services do not alter their practices when receiving a DNT signal.

For individuals in the EEA or UK, our processing relies on:

  • Performance of Contract: Processing necessary to deliver the Services you requested.
